Strong storms result in widespread outages 6/14/22
Strong storms swept through the area late Monday into early Tuesday morning, resulting in power outages affecting over 4,000 Firelands Electric Cooperative members in portions of Ashland, Huron, and Richland counties. Nearly all of the outages involve tree damage. Firelands crews, with the assistance of several tree contractors and additional crews from a neighboring co-op, are working to remove debris and restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
