Turn On Service at Existing Location

Please fill in the form below to request turn on of electric service at an existing location. Firelands Electric will make every effort to turn on electric service in your name at an existing location within three business days after receiving your request. In case of holidays, service will be activated on the business day following the holiday. Firelands Electric will reply via e-mail to confirm your requested turn-on date.

Your signature is required for cooperative membership. A membership agreement form will be mailed to you for your signature - please sign the form and return it to Firelands Electric as soon as possible.

A $160** deposit is required for all new accounts. The deposit may be waived if a letter of credit is obtained from another utility indicating a good payment record for a period of at least 12 months. Other deposits also may apply. All applicable deposits must be received before service is turned on.

** Deposit is based on the kWh use of the average Firelands member and is subject to change.
