Firelands Electric Cooperative is giving children of members the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents by participating in its 2017 Electrical Safety Coloring and Digital Art Contests. The contest is open to children ages 3-13 who reside in a home that receives its power from Firelands. ALL entries MUST be received in the Firelands Electric office by 5:00 p.m., Monday, May 22.

Winners will be announced by June 9 and will be asked to come to the Firelands office for a photo. Winners’ names and photos will be posted on Firelands’ website and Facebook page, as well as appear in an upcoming issue of Ohio Cooperative Living magazine. All entries must include a completed Official Entry and Photo Release Form (see below).

Categories this year are as follows:

Group 1 — Ages 3-4 years    Group 2 — Ages 5-6 years    Group 3 — Ages 7-9 years

Digital Art: (digitally created poster/ad or 30-second video)
Group 4 — Ages 10-13 years 

The top two entries from each group will win a trophy and gift card.
